I'm trying to rig this curtain up in the baby's room so that it still lets the light in. I think this might be a winner, but I wonder if it looks a little funky all tied up. I want your opinion! Is this stylish or strange?
Have you tried taking the tail of the curtian and wrapping it under the rod in the corner that you have it tied? I had this same deal in Bethany's nursery. I gathered the length, hung it behind and over the end of the rod and I pushed the top edge {That stands up on top the rod} kinda behind the rod. Does this make any sense at all?! :) Please ask and I shall try to explain again. I wouldn't think twice if I saw your curtain the way it is. It's really simple to accomplish the same thing by slipping the tail under and over the corner. Like if I say it again, it will make sense. :) I had to put a couple pins in mine to hold it, since the fabric was really slick. If I still had that curtain I would send you a picture.
Hey Devon, it doesn't look strange, I like the way it drapes, however, it looks unfinished- it needs that little touch of oomph to make it look purposeful, and less... accidental/unplanned. Perhaps, a bigger tie back? Or one with more pizazz? Or a bundle of flowers?
